What’s your favorite color? Is it green?

Those who favor green have a special connection to nature. It feeds your soul. Whether it is spending time in the garden or finding creative ways to bring the outdoors in, your favorite activities revolve around all that Mother Nature has to offer.

You dislike chaos and strive for consistency and balance. You understand that time is money. Time management is a strength because you quickly prioritize. Business savvy is bolstered by your ability to target what is most important and delegate what is not. As a result, you rarely sweat the small stuff.

You are environmentally aware and involved in community affairs. You have a knack for seeing the big picture and understanding multiple points of view. Others admire your clarity and respect your objective and fair outlook.

Keeping the Good Life Going. Keeping The Planet Alive.

Posted by Anne Wesley on

Affordable, reliable electricity is fundamental to modern life, or as someone may call it the "good life". It provides clean and safe light around the clock, it cools and heats our homes, as well as connects us all via smartphones and computers.

The "good life", often times, comes at a cost of the planet's sustainability.

Electricity demand is growing higher than any other form of energy and fossil fuels (coal, natural gas, and petroleum) are still the main source in electricity generation.

Fossil fuels are harmful to the environment mainly due to the amount of carbon dioxide or CO2 emitted when fossil fuels are burned. This burning and release of CO2 is a huge contributor to the greenhouse effect and climate change.

Save energy, save the environment.

Although it may not be obvious, there's a direct connection between your energy use and the environment. When you consume less power, you reduce the amount of toxic fumes released by power plants, conserve the earth's natural resources and protect ecosystems from destruction. [www.saveonenergy.com]

Turning off lights when you don't need is a simple thing we all can do at no cost to save money and energy, preventing the bulbs from burning out fast and the climate from heating up. [sustainability.tufts.edu]

Composting food scraps can reduce climate impact while also recycling soil nutrients.

Cutting down on using one-time-use plastic and recycling paper, plastic, glass & aluminum keep landfills from growing.

Every single effort counts for the sustainable future!

Connecting The Dots

Posted by Anne Wesley on

“You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something – your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. Because believing that the dots will connect down the road will give you the confidence to follow your heart even when it leads you off the well worn path; and that will make all the difference.” - Steve Jobs

I love dots and these simple dot stud earrings are my favorites that can easily match any outfit, from casual to formal. The fish skin gives one-of-a-kind and beautiful textures that no two pieces are alike. Spring is coming and these pretty colors are perfect to welcome the bright and blossoming season of the year.

Our studs and ear nuts are made in the USA with 925 Sterling Silver, a great option for those, like me, with sensitive skins. Each pair of earrings are custom made, piece by piece, in our studio in the USA, with love and care, just for you!
