"I hope for your help to explore and protect the wild ocean in ways that will restore the health and, in so doing, secure hope for humankind. Health to the ocean means health for us."
- Sylvia Earle, Oceanographer
Yesterday we brought our little one to Crab Cove, Alameda. We saw squirrels and geese in all sizes from babies to grownups walking and running around. Ocean, beach, grass, trees, pond, animals, sky, clouds … it’s such a wonderful place for nature explorations.
They also have a visitor center and 800-gallon aquarium where we all can learn about the wonders in San Francisco Bay Area, too!
We’re so grateful to live just 5 minutes drive away from Crab Cove, and even more grateful for Regional Park District who takes such great care of these areas to preserve the natural and cultural resources in the Regional Parks and provide healthful recreation -- for present and future generations.
Happy World Oceans Day 2022 🌊
